Our Children's Department is growing as you read this.
Currently, you can join us for:
Sunday School begins at 9:30a.m. We are learning to Live B.I.G. (Believing In God). This exciting curriculum gets the children involved in learning the stories from the Bible with fun crafts and games. They also get to watch a video clip each week where stories of the Bible are relayed in a new and different way. This is followed by a Bible verse and great songs the children learn for the month. Our kids really enjoy Sunday School with this program, and you can often hear them singing the songs they have learned throughout the week.
W.O.W.
Worship On Wednesday is our mid-week program for children ages 3 years old through 5th grade. The fun begins at 6:00p.m. with a snack supper. The kids head upstairs at 6:30 p.m. for an hour of learning and fun followed by singing. They really have a great time hearing stories from the Bible and playing games and making crafts that reinforce what they have learned.
Bible Explorers This class is for all kids 2nd grade through Middle School and will be held the fourth Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m. The curriculum we will be using is Learning To Use My Bible from Cokesbury. This special study will help the kids get a good grasp on what the Bible is all about. They will have fun and learn the whos, whats, whens, and wheres of their Bibles. By the time this class is over, they will really know how to use their Bibles, and have a new appreciation for what they find inside.
Parent's Night Out is our once a month break for parents. We know our parents need a night out every once in a while, so we provide free babysitting for just that. While the parents get away, the children will play! Each Parent's Night Out begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts until 9:30 p.m., we have a theme with activities, crafts, and a movie. The kids eat dinner, have an all around great time and learn a good lesson while they do. Meanwhile, the parent's can have a relaxing evening without worrying about the kids.
